Festival Ready With Fashion Nova

Thanks to Fashion Nova Curve, I’m ready for festival season! Although I won’t be making it to Coachella this year, I plan to be dressed for the occasion all season long. What better to celebrate festival season than with a mini look-book of styles you will more than likely see at any music festival this spring and summer.

Studs & Roses

I’ve already implemented embroidery into my spring style, and honestly you can bet your bottom dollar it will be all over festival season. So go ahead and add it to your spring and summer wardrobe because it’s definitely a closet staple this year.

Cold Shoulders & Ruffles

Exposed shoulders made a comeback last year, and I was and still am obsessed. It reminds me of my Selena-fan days from childhood; so any opportunity I get to throw on ruffle, show my shoulders and ‘bidi bidi bom bom’ around my living room, I take it. There will be a lot of ruffles and shoulder shimmies at all of these music festivals, so ladies … gear up!

Distressed & Frayed

I like to blame Kanye for all of these clothes with holes in them … and truthfully, I hated it at first. I just couldn’t grasp the concept of investing in something that is torn. As the trends evolve, I’ve come to like the concept, on my own terms. I still can’t do extreme holes (I’m sorry, I just refuse to look dingy), but I do like the frayed jean look and distressed denim. This is another festival ready staple!

So tell me, which festival trend is your favorite? And will you be incorporating it into your wardrobe?
